Marco Bellanca Oswego East OL Class Of 2024 6'2 280
Marco Bellanca how was your junior season?
My junior season was sort of a bump in the road. Over the summer I had surgery to repair my meniscus, so I spent the majority of the season recovering and was limited on my play time this year but I’m feeling great now.
What ways did you help your team on the sidelines?
I helped them by encouraging them and keeping their heads up when things go bad and helped the o line stay focused and prepared for the game
What would you say to a player that is injured and feeling down?
I would reassure them with a emotional support and let them know I’m there if they ever need anything. I would also tell them to take the proper steps to recover no matter how hard it gets because it can be tough and don’t rush anything at all because that could lead to another injury.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
The trenches takes a lot of toughness to be in, your getting hit constantly and you can’t take plays off. My favorite thing about the trenches is just hitting the man across from you as hard as you can.
What goals do you have for yourself next season?
To make the person infront of me quit and to help my team win.
What should college coaches know about you? I’m a very coachable player and I’m always looking to improve my game. I’m also a very hard worker and very competitive.
