Opening Remarks For Crete-Monee vs Carmel Catholic Deep Dish Football GOTW Week 1 2023
It's finally here the 2023 Season. Deep Dish Football GOTW Week 1 is going to be a battle of two teams one finding themselves and another team eying a state title. We have one head coach who is top IHSA coach and another coach who is a rising star in the IHSA. I'm expecting to see some talented recruits featured on both teams. Carmel Catholic is ready to take the IHSA by storm with this new era of winning and ready to take it all the way to State for thanksgiving. Carmel has a star QB and an elite line that is looking to slice and dice defenses. Crete-Monee is building towards a strong push this season with youthful uprising at their skill spots. Coach K and the Warriors always have 3 players that emerge on the recruiting scene by Week 3. So, let's get ready for an entertaining week as we kickoff the 2023 season.
