Matthew Musial how was your junior season?
My junior season was interesting I was out the whole year do to a shoulder surgery (torn labrum, dislocated shoulder and fractured shoulder),but that hasn’t stopped me from working my butt off this season.
What schools have you been talking to so far?
Culver Stockton, Rockford, North Park University, Illinois College, UW-Whitewater and Carthage.
What should college coaches know about you?
That I am super focused, regardless of my injury I still have an amazing work ethic and always am looking to improve and get better.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I love how competitive it is and how personal it gets, it’s always a driving factor to winning a rep. I also love how violent it gets I love to compete and battle with the man in front of me.
How does Naperville Central look for the upcoming season? We are looking great we all are putting in the necessary work in the weight room and outside of school, I definitely think we will be competitors next year. What goals do you have for yourself this season? My personal goals are to keep getting my numbers up in the weight room, to keep making sure I am mentally and physically prepared for this season. And to make sure my teammates will succeed as-well.
