Connor Shelby Mt. Carmel Class Of 2024 6'4 260
Connor Shelby how is your going for you so far? Very good we have had a great start to our season going 6-0! How good is this Mt. Carmel offensive line? We are one the best in my opinion, we have had to deal with injuries recently and I think we have done a very good job of adjusting to it and getting everyone back in rhythm that we had going for us. What should college coaches know about you? I am a reliable student athlete. I have the right size and toughness to play at the collegiate level. What does football mean to you? This is a sport I have played since I was little, and I have just loved it ever since. It has taught me that you can learn from your mistakes. You can be successful if you are willing to work hard at it. What do you like about playing in the trenches? The ability to go to war every Friday night with my guys. This position is not a very “pretty" one but we are the reason for our team's success. What has been your favorite memory so far this season? Our First home game was our homecoming, and we just got a brand-new field over the summer, so it was really cool being able to play there with a packed snake-pit. Who on Mt. Carmel is having a breakout season? Our QB Blayne Sisson he is a legit D1 athlete. He can really do it all on both sides of the ball too. He is the guy coaches can’t really game plan for because of how he does everything at such a high level all the time.
