Metro Suburban Conference 2022 Preview With Coach Big Pete - Who Can Stop The Spartans & Knights?

Welcome back IHSA Football!!! As is every June conference previews and again please remember predictions and previews mean crap. High school football is the greatest thing because of pure parity. What is up last year could be down this year and what is down last year can up this year. ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN IHSA FOOTBALL. Last year 2021 was pure anarchy and no one knew what was going on. Also, unlike some prep writers who take credit and copy and paste the coach's work off a crap team questionnaire I do my own work. Thank You, to the high school coaches that put the info up on HUDL and emailed me info as well.

METRO SUBURBAN CONFERENCE 2022 Season Preview

So not to be obvious, but the two teams that are the big ones are ICCP and St. Francis. ICCP boasts a heavy hitting defense along with talented WRs and a QB who has some experience under his belt. St. Francis looks great, and after a disappointing season and early exit in the playoffs looks to get to a state title. ICCP has two solid line and can beat you on the ground and in the air. ICCP looked green last year, but this team is ready to make a run at a state title. Wheaton Academy, Aurora Christian, Bishop McNamara, Chicago Christian are my challenging teams that you need to know about. Wheaton Academy has star Brummel behind center and underrated WR in Liam White. Aurora Christian has star QB in Bray but need to see more of their skill players and line. Chicago Christian main question is can they take that next step. Bishop McNamara loses one star player to transfer and yet boosts a hard-hitting offense. Riverside Brookfield is my surprise team because I have that 90s/early 2000s feeling with this team (surprise that they could challenge for state), and I think they will be shocking some people this season. St. Edward has a tough schedule and needs to get those early wins feature a playmaking QB in Rolando. Aurora Central Catholic, Westmont could be on an upswing this season but need to get those early wins no matter what. Ridgewood and Elmwood Park are just two teams trying to win, but like ACC and Westmont it's going to be a tough one.

BEST BET: Metro Suburban will have one team playing for an IHSA Title

TOP BET: ICCP vs St. Francis will be the big game in this conference again

TELL ME WHY: Riverside Brookfield can't challenge ICCP or St. Francis

TELL ME WHY 2: This Conference is rich in Star QBs
