Bruno Massel how was your freshmen season? My freshman season went really well, our team finished 7-1-1 and we could’ve been even better, but we battled injuries throughout the season and never really reached our full potential. I think this year now we have the potential to be even better than we were last year and hopefully take home the conference title. What does football mean to you? Football is everything to me! Ever since I was little, I have loved the game of football. Not only playing but watching as well. From studying film, to watching the pros to actually getting on the field and playing in front of my peers. I love the competitiveness, the discipline, and how it has taught me to be mentally tough. Football has given me the chance to develop relationships on the field that have carried over to my everyday life. There is nothing like strapping on that helmet and going out on that field with my teammates and putting on a show for the fans. The way you can hear the crowd erupt as a big play is just beginning or looking over to see the sideline on their feet for a crucial play. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I truly love the game of football and consider myself a student of the game. I’ve been told that I’m a great teammate and leader. My goal is to never be outworked. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Dual threat ability What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? All of it. I’ve really focused on trying to get stronger and faster as well as emphasize breaking down game film. What goals do you have for yourself this season? My goal to do whatever it takes to lead my team to a perfect season.
