Meet Willowbrook DL Davion Brown Class Of 2026

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Davion Brown how is your summer going so far? It’s going good just working out for the season. How was your freshmen season? It was really good actually after 2 games, I got moved up to JV and got big looks from varsity. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me through playing the game the past few years. I’ve had to go through a lot of adversity making me rethink the game itself, but I always come back to the game because of how strong it helps me I love the bonds, the competitiveness and winning of course.

What should college coaches know about you? I am very respectful; I love to work and get better at my craft. I am a very fast learner, I’m good in the classroom. I am very dedicated to the sport of football weather that’s practicing before actual practice or putting more work in and over doing it. I’m of course still learning a lot going into my sophomore season things as effort, understanding how going to higher levels of football will become a business. And a lot more but I’m ready to start learning today. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been working on the mental part of it a lot because a lot of the great things that has happened to me affected my mental health as well as offered me a lot but in the past 2 months I’ve been working on sleds, hand placement. A lot of strength training. I have an equal amount of explosive training and plyometrics. I can admit I haven’t done enough training after my first season of high school football, but that changed after I really knew what I wanted to do with football. I’m already getting back to my older strength I work out 4 days a week + summer camp. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love the aggressive content of it. Tackling the running back getting sacks is very satisfying when you’re good at it. Containing my gap is also fun because then my teammates get to make a play on the field.

Who else is another player on Willowbrook for the Class of 2026 that we should keep an eye out for? Anthony Leo
