Ben Juska how was your 2019 season?
My season was good, for the team it was a lot of learning, we had a very young core that was able to gain a lot of experience on the field to prepare ourselves for the upcoming season, for me it went really well, I finished the season with 11 touchdowns and averaged 5 yards per carry while being on offense, defense, and special teams.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I’m a very coachable athlete and am always looking for areas to improve, I work extremely hard, working out at least 8 times a week while maintaining a 4.29 GPA, I truly believe I’m one of if not the strongest RB in Illinois, I have a 365lb bench, 507lb squat, and 555lb deadlift.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I’ve been working on a lot, primarily working with my sports performance coach to improve my speed and agility and also my explosive power.
So how does Westmont look for 2021?
I think we’re looking pretty solid, of course there’s always areas to improve, but we’ve changed up a lot from last year, and given the current circumstances it should be a good year.
What goal do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
I really want to be an all state athlete, but more than anything I want to do what it takes to play division 1 football, to prove not only to myself but to others that I have what it takes to play at the highest level.
Who are some other Westmont players I should keep an eye out for? I think Darius Stevenson is going to be a really good player at RB he’s just a sophomore but he works hard and wants to be the best he can, also Jalen Lacy, he’s an explosive 2 sport athlete competing in wrestling and football heading into his junior year.
