Luke Pettaway Waubonsie Valley WR/ATH Class of 2023 6'1 170

Luke Pettaway how was your 2019 season? My 2019 season was good I had a great time getting accumulated to Waubonsie and my team did good as well. I enjoyed competing and playing throughout the season. It was a good start to my high school career that I look forward to building upon. What should college coaches know about you? College Coaches should know that I’m an extremely hard worker. I love to play and compete but I also love to improve. I’m always looking to take that next step and get better. I’m someone who’s gonna not only give it my all on game day but also give everything I have when it comes to practicing and becoming a better player or teammate. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I would say my route running. I feel like I create good separation at the line of scrimmage as well as coming out of my breaks. I also do a good job reading the field and finding soft spots within zone coverages. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on becoming faster, stronger and more explosive as well as getting bigger. I feel like adding even more speed, strength and explosiveness to what I already have should help me become an even better player. Who are some other players from Waubonsie Valley I should keep an eye out for this season? I think we have a lot of players ready to have a great season. Amir Spikener who’s a DB and our Quarterback Nathan Pappas are two good names to look out for.
