Cassius Callahan how is your season going so far? My season is going great! The team is doing as I expected and every practice/game we are getting better. I look forward improving each time I hit the field. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me; I’ve played since I was 3 years old. I am also hopeful that football will provide me with the opportunity to go to college so that I can gain and education and continue to showcase my love and talent in the sport. What should college coaches know about you? They should know that I work hard and smart (on and off the field) and am willing to do whatever it takes, in whichever position on the field, that is going help my team win. I’ll put everything on the line to win and continually improve. I will work to be the best at my position, in the classroom and a motivator for my teammates. I have great determination and respect for the game. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Preparation, speed and physicality. Preparing for games in significant film study gives me the ability to predict, read and react to all plays. By combining my speed and physicality, I aggressively approach every play, break tackles and score. What has been one of your favorite memories so far this season? To be honest the whole season so far has been my favorite memory. The feeling of growing a bond with people that have the same goals as I do is so great. We all want to win the state championship so we all try to make the best out of every moment we have and help each other get better.
