Julius Word how was your junior season?
My junior season was pretty good we lost in the first round of the playoffs, but I would say I had a great season overall
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me I’ve been playing most my life it’s no better feeling then being on the field
What schools have you talked to so far?
No schools have reached out yet
What should college coaches know about you?
I try my best to play a leadership role on a team and play hard for my brothers on the field
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I don’t quit, I play hard until the whistle
What do you like about playing on the defensive line?
I love that when I get through the line, I get a chance to make a big play I always believed in defense wins games
How does Carbondale look for the upcoming season?
We got a lot of potential and talent if we all work for it, we could have a great season in the fall
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
I want to get number 1 in the state for sacks next year and show off my skills on offense
