Sam Greene how was your sophomore season?
I felt like it was good, but definitely room to improve for my junior year. Helped take my team to the playoffs and hope to do more this next year for my team.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m going to do anything to help the team win, and all I want is to succeed with my teammates and win
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I feel like my mobility and to be able to throw on the run and to create things when things go bad.
What does football mean to you?
It’s a major part of my life. Ever since I could walk football has been a part of me. It’s my true happiness and love.
How does Salem look for the upcoming season?
I think we have a chance to be very good again. We have talented guys and a good bond that can help us through each game.
Who on Salem besides yourself should I keep an eye out for this upcoming season? Definitely Cole Johnson for sure. He’ll be a linebacker for us and will be a senior. Great leader and wants nothing but the best for his teammates. Caleb Smith as well another linebacker, just a great teammate and great player Class of 2024. My left tackle class of 2024 Brenan Lux a great pass pro and run blocker. Jervace Mayes Class of 2023 Wide receiver very fast. What goals do you have for yourself upcoming season? Reach 2,000 yards, rush for much more yards as well. And help win our first playoff game since 1991. What game are you most excited about this upcoming season? Breese Central week 6. They beat us in the regular season for the conference title and in the playoffs.
