Tyler Stamatis Oswego East Athlete Class of 2025 5'8 155

T.J. Stamatis how has your season so far?
Excellent. I am diversifying by playing some defense as Safety, adding that to my list of positions. I am also on kick-off special team.
What does football mean to you?
It is my favorite and best way to put my athleticism to good use. Feels great to finally put my helmet and pads on after a long day at school and then focus and have a great time on the field. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
Teamwork, speed, agility and coordination. What should college coaches know about you?
I am constantly and quickly developing; I am laser focused. I am about to break 4.5 in the 40-yard dash as I ran a 4.52 a month ago. I also feel I can naturally read the field on both offense and defense. What does it mean to you to be Sophomore on the varsity team?
Excited, and also makes me strive to be the best I can be, and it keeps me on the cutting edge as the competition is high and it just makes me better. It also makes me proud. What goals do you have for yourself the rest of the season?
To play both sides of the ball and help get us to the playoffs. I am striving to get at least 4 tackles, and two picks per game. On offense, playing slot receiver, I will look to help us get as many first downs and touchdowns as possible. I want the team to succeed more than anything.
