Arthur Palicki how was your sophomore season?
It was a good learning experience; I grew quite a bit on the field and gained the respect of the guys around me throughout the season.
What was one of your favorite memories of last season?
The opportunity to go to the playoffs it made a lot of memories that I will cherish forever. My number one is when we beat Moline in the second round and my teammates were going crazy it was great to see them so excited.
What does football mean to you?
Football. I love everything about the game. I love practice, I love the camaraderie of my teammates and coaches. I love working out, the challenge of the game. Probably the competition is what I love the most about it. I wish the season started tomorrow. What should college coaches know about you? I'm a team player, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to win games, I'm my biggest critic so I'm always looking to fix any of my deficiencies. I give maximum effort at all times, there are no days off. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I'm not afraid. I'm willing to throw balls in spots where others may not be comfortable to. I'm going to try and raise everyone else's game through my leadership. What schools have reached out to you so far? Of my knowledge none. I was invited to University of Illinois during the season for a game day visit. It's my understanding they can't reach out to me till the summer. I am going to sit down and make some calls to coaches starting with Eastern Illinois and possibly a couple MAC schools I'm interested in What do you like about playing QB? The leadership role, the responsibility, having the game in my hands on every offensive snap. I get the opportunity to be the one to set the example and everyone looks to me to be their role model.
