By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber

So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jack Eberhart how was your 2019 season? It was a pretty good season we lost 2 games, I was on JV so I felt like it was some time to grow into the player I want to be and prove to the coaches that when I get on Varsity that I’m ready to play and compete. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me. Ever since I first started playing it when I was a kid in 3rd Grade I loved the game and everything about it being the hard work, discipline and determination. I would say that the football has molded me into the person I am today. What should college coaches know about you? I think that college coaches should know that I’m a hard worker and I just love the game of football and if they recruit me to there school I will spend every day getting better What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on my footwork the most this off season because last year I felt like that is what held me back but this year I feel like it is what’s going to help separate me from other offensive linemen in the up coming season. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love the contact and putting people onto there backs and I also love knowing that it all starts in the trenches, so when I do good I know it helps my team win games.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
