Carter Stare Neuqua Valley WR/ATH Class of 2024 5'8 150
Carter Stare how was your sophomore season? I learned a lot during my sophomore season. Since it was my second year on varsity, the game slowed down for me. I was able to contribute more effectively as a blocker in the run game as well as running jet sweeps and being a third down conversion target What does football mean to you? Football has consumed all of my life. I want to be around it as much as I can. It gave me core values that I will be able to transfer to other facets of my life. I was given the privilege to play this game and in every minute on a field I enjoy it. The adrenaline pumping through me on game day getting excited with the family I built with teammates is something I won’t ever forget. I love football and everything about it What should college coaches know about you? I have an incredible will to win and every rep I take in practice or in games, they will get 100% effort from me. And I love to hit. “Though he be but little, he is fierce” (Seabiscuit). What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait is either quickness or toughness What goals do you have for yourself this season? I have two goals this year, win conference, and win state Who is the fastest in the family of Stare? At my age, I ran the fastest 40 with a 4.59. They ran a 4.52 in the summer of their junior year. I’ll let you know when I beat that next year.
