Nate Lang Montini QB Class Of 2027
Nate Lang what does football mean to you? It is the best game in the world that lets you be a part of a brotherhood that is bigger than yourself. How was your 8th grade season? My 8th grade season was great. I learned many lessons on the field and off the field and learned how to be a better leader and teammate. I had a great opportunity that challenged me with complex concepts but gave me freedom to run the offense and make decisions. I’m grateful for the opportunity I had, and it prepared me for high school. How excited are you to start high school football? I’m very excited to be at Montini Catholic and hopefully contribute to making deep playoffs runs with my teammates. I’m looking forward to building relationships and developing into the best QB that I can be for the program. I’ve been looking forward to the IHSA for a long time.
What do you like about playing QB?
I love the mental and physical part of being a QB. I like the responsibility of helping my teammates accomplish their goals too. I love the challenge of breaking down a defense and using the whole field, especially late with the game on the line.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My ability to process information and make decisive action. I prepare, watch film on almost all my throws so I trust my ability. I’ve also played a lot of football, usually played up. I’ve seen a lot which helped prepare me to process and take action.
Who are some other Montini Class of 2027 players we should be on the lookout for? Luca Florio is definitely a name to watch out for, he is a great athlete who can make big plays on both sides of the ball.
