Jonathan Hayes Montini DE/DL Class of 2025 6'0 205
Jonathan Hayes how is your season going for you so far?
This season hasn't gone the way our team intended with all of the injuries and devastating losses, but I have improved a lot as a player and I have gained a lot of experience playing up on varsity.
What does football mean to you?
Football is both my greatest interest and what I believe to be the most life preparing sport anyone can participate in. Football grows boys into men and has helped me know what it is like to truly work hard.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest trait would be never giving up on a play. Whether I am creating a stop on defense or keeping a drive alive on offense I do not stop until my part is finished.
What do you feel you have improved in your game this season?
Being aggressive. Practice alone with teammates older than me has helped me improve my ability to not be afraid and to simply hit while in the game.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
My favorite memory was the Montini Johnny Game against St. Lawrence. This game was full of emotion because of the Johnny tradition within the school every year. I was also able to start on offense.
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a player who is willing to do anything for the team. Whether that is playing a new position, special teams, or helping out my guys I am going to do what it takes to win.
