So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Rowan Keefe QB Maine South Class Of 2022 6'3 180

Rowan Keefe how was your spring season? It was a fun last ride with our seniors. Wasn’t the season we wanted, but we made it count! Wish we could have made a run in the playoffs, but it is what it is. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. Ever since I was a little boy it’s been what I love to do most. Watching Maine South games as a kid, I looked up to the players like they were gods. Now that I’m in the position to be that role model for younger kids, it’s surreal. It’s all about keeping the legacy of Maine South football strong, and inspiring the younger generation. What should college coaches know about you? Coaches should know that every time I step on the field, I’m leaving everything I got on it. Game or practice, I’m going to play my heart out for my teammates. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My leadership is my best quality as a player. The energy I bring motivates my teammates to push harder than they thought they could. I also believe I set a good example for my teammates to follow. What do you like about playing QB? I love being able to take charge of the offense and be the field general. Obviously throwing in general is a lot of fun, but being able to lead my guys is what I love most.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football
