Tanner Benaitis Lockport WR Class of 2024 5'11 170
Tanner Benaitis how was your sophomore season? It was outstanding. I love my teammates and coaches. I learned so much, and on top of that we went 8-1! What does football mean to you? Football means so much to me. It is my motivation to stay on top of myself, my feelings, my health, and most importantly grades. Football is very important to me because, all year around it keeps me motivated to do good in school and stay healthy so I can continue to play for as long as I can. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a very hard worker and I will do anything and everything I can to make myself and my teammates better. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the field is definitely keeping my composure in key moments. I also believe that my communication skills on the field are very good as well. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on a little bit of everything this off-season. I played 7v7 with legacy, and I joined Lockport track. But I spent most of my time in the gym. I’ve been very focused on my speed, agility, and strength.
What goals do you have for yourself this season? My main goals are to be the best I can be, be a good teammate, and get better. As long as I can accomplish these goals, I believe that I will have a successful season and have fun with some of my best friends playing the game I love.
