Kevin Huels how was your 2019 season? It was a blast. Football season is always the best time of year. I got to play both ways too so that made the season even better What does football mean to you? It is a tremendous opportunity that I have been blessed with. It has taught me so many life skills and given me some of the greatest relationships with people that wouldn’t have happened without football What should college coaches know about you? I am a hard worker and I get done what needs to be done. I also love to learn about the sport as much as possible and am always looking to get better mentally and physically What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I have been lifting a ton with my teammates. I have also been watching film on my own as well as other videos about footwork, hand placement, and other fundamentals that I am looking to be better at for the upcoming season What do you like about playing in the trenches? It is where all the hard work pays off. Whoever is working harder in the trenches and has better fundamentals will win that battle. It is a constant battle all game. Games can ride on teams’ ability to play in the trenches and being a part of that is awesome
