Daniel Van Camp Lake Forest QB Class Of 2025 6'4 225
Daniel Van Camp how was your sophomore season? The season wasn’t what I was hoping for. I got hurt just before halftime of my first start (high ankle sprain). And it limited my reps for the season (missed several weeks). What does football mean to you? It’s my favorite sport. I’ve loved since I really young. It allows me an opportunity to compete with my team/brothers. What should college coaches know about you? My best characteristics are my arm strength, size, excellent decision making ability, intellect/grades and work ethic. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? During games, I’m calm and can process decisions quickly and get the ball out. Even as a sophomore on varsity, I never felt the game was too big for me. What do you like about playing QB? I like having the role of being a leader of the team. And in general. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Accuracy, throwing strength, overall strength, studying defensive film, and footwork. A lot of Byron’s training includes footwork.
Who on Lake Forest are ready for a breakout season? Tommy Aberle, Logan Uihlein, Nate Williams, Graham Garrigan, Tim Dan, Michael Bousis, Marty and Ryan Hippel, Charlie Marquis and me. We have a lot to prove after a disappointing 2022.
