Kellen Gamble, how is your sophomore season going so far?
I think my sophomore season is going pretty good. I'm learning and adapting to the Varsity speed of play. Our record isn't where we hoped but we are a young team looking to do big things as the goes on
What does football mean to you?
I've been playing football since I was 6 years old. Football has been a big part of my family life. I'm the youngest of 6 boys who all played football, so it's been a major part of my life.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I'm coachable, a team player and able to rise to the occasion during the most intense situations. I'm a student of the game and will execute on the field.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my strongest trait is my footwork and speed for my position. I've worked hard during the offseason to develop my skills to push people off the line of scrimmage and pulling.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I love playing in the trenches. It's fun dominating defensive lineman side by side with my teammates. I like going up against different D-lines and adjusting to the different styles of play.
Who is the funniest player on the team?
It's hard to pick just one, so I'll say Omari Baker (LG) and DeAndre Clemons (RG) they keep us entertained.
What goals do you have for yourself this rest of the season?
The goals I have for myself is to keep getting better each game. Also, develop my ability to execute on plays and get stronger and faster.
