Meet Glenbard South Athlete Joey LaBarbera Class Of 2025

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Joey LaBarbera Glenbard South Athlete Class Of 2025 6'0 160

Joey LaBarbera how was your first game of the season? We came out with a win. We had some ups and some downs. I had a couple tackles on special teams and a kickoff recovery, which had me pretty psyched. What does football mean to you? I love the sport. I’ve played it all my life and have tried other sports but nothing has stuck with me like football has. What should college coaches know about you? I put in the work that’s needed. Improve on my mistakes and my teammates know they can depend on me.

What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I’ve been told i have a “nose for the ball”, or how i don’t give up till the whistle is blown. What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? To improve myself and my game.

What game are you most excited for these next 8 weeks? Glenbard East and South Elgin

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting

But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
