Joe Palermo Glenbard North OL/LS Class of 2024 6'0 230
Joe Palermo how was your sophomore season?
Good, I think there was a lot of growth in my game since freshman year. I would’ve liked to be more successful as a team, but I think we have something big coming this next season.
What does football mean to you?
Everything. It sounds cliche but I think it has shaped me as a person a lot. It’s been a very constant thing in my life and when I’m on the field nothing else matters.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m the hardest worker. I’ll give everything I have day in and day out. And that I’m a leader on the field.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My ability to consistently take defensive lineman out of the play. And the intensity and aggressiveness I play with.
What do you like about playing in the trenches? How aggressive you can be. The toughness and grit that comes with it, it’s pure skill and toughness. There’s no luck with it, the best man always wins. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Everything. I work with coach Sabo at fist on my posture, pass pro, and run blocking. More specifically I’ve been trying to work on my speed and my hand placement, along with the speed of my strike.
