Christopher Green-Williams Edwardsville DB Class of 2023 5'11 150
Christopher Green-Williams how was your junior season? My junior season had been pretty consistent by going from second string cornerback to starting free safety after one of my teammates had been injured in the beginning of the season. It was a smooth transition even though I had some experience from playing safety my sophomore season. What does football mean to you? To me, football is a mindset and a commitment. I’m not just playing the sport for me, but for my teammates and my coaches. What should college coaches know about you? What college coaches should know about me is that I’m a team first player and I play for the team and not just myself. Also that I’m a disciplined athlete and willing to do whatever my coach and team needs to be done. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Being able to read the offensive from the defensive perspective and my physicalness to make plays. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? The part of my game I’ve been improving on the most is, continuing to work on my footwork and starting to work on getting reps on the offensive side of the ball. How does Edwardsville look for the upcoming season?
Looking very bright and we have a lot more potential. We definitely have a great season ahead of us.
