Dalton Brown how has your freshmen season been so far? Good. I am pretty happy with my play. I have had a hand full of tackles in all of our games so far. I’m very happy I have had the chance to start varsity as a freshman because i feel it will give me a lot of experience and help me out in the long run. What does football mean to you? Football is my life. I have been playing the game since I was 8 years old. I fell in the love with the game the first time I stepped on the field. How has it been adjusting to the Varsity level? Its been difficult but I’m felt like I have gotten used to it. The competition was a lot different then years before since I am mostly playing against kids older than me. In the beginning it was very fast and there was a lot more coverages and calls to learn. I felt that practice and my coaches helped with that a lot. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel my strongest trait in my courage. I don’t back down to anyone. Playing linebacker you get lots of lineman coming out to block you, and I feel like I do a job of delivering a blow to them so I can get off of them even if they are a lot bigger than me. What should college coaches know about you? I am a very dedicated. I spend everyday of the off-season in the weight room. I watch lots of film of my opponents before the game. I also go 100% every down and don’t take any plays off.
