Jack Berger how was your sophomore season? Great, having the opportunity to play both defense and offense as a sophomore on varsity was really nice. What does football mean to you? Football to me goes beyond the sport itself. To me it means the brotherhood that I have gained with my teammates. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m a team player, hard worker, and coachable.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My leadership What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? My speed and route running What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? To continue to improve both individually and as a team. Prove we belong and can succeed in a new class/conference How does Deerfield look for the upcoming season? I think we are being looked at as a free win to other teams but we have never been more ready to face this new challenge.
Who on Deerfield is ready for a breakout season this fall? I think our entire offense will have a breakout season but keep an eye on QB Mac Jones, Slot receiver Zach Friedman, and outside receiver Jack Moros.
