Michael Prokos Crystal Lake South ATH 6'0 175 Class of 2024
Michael Prokos how was your 2021 season?
My 2021 season was pretty good. We made the playoffs and ended up losing in the first round but I was proud of our team and how hard we worked. We never gave up, and I’m proud of all of my teammates.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me. I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old. I can never get enough of it, it’s all I want to do. It’s not only fun but it teaches me life long lessons and make plenty of friends. Football is my everything.
What should college coaches know about you?
I think college coaches should know that I am a hard worker and I will do whatever it takes. I’m also a hard worker in school and everywhere else. I am very coachable and will always listen to what they have to say. I am a team player, and will help out however I can.
What was one of your favorite memories this season?
My favorite memory was definitely beating Huntley which we had to do to make the playoffs. We were projected 2-7 on the season and ended up making the playoffs. That felt good to prove everyone wrong.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my strongest trait is my ability to break tackles but also my hands. I don’t like to go down and I do everything I can to stay up on my feet. I’ll fight for every yard I can get. If that ball is in the air it’s mine, and I’ll do whatever it takes to go get it.
