Stephen Garth how is your season going for you so far? Our season is going great so far. As a team we have become one unit with the same goal, to win state. We had some tuff games against great opponents, but it taught us what we need to fix together as a team and be prepared for the next week. What does football mean to you? Football is everything to me. I have meet some of the best people and make some of the best memories in life because of football. It has made me a leader and it helped me become a better person overall. Football has made one of the biggest impacts in my life and without it, I don’t know where I would be. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Being quick on my feet. It allows me to be athletic and versatile which helps me get off blocks, make tackles and make plays whether it’s on offensive or defense. What should college coaches know about you? I am not just an athlete. I take my education very serious. I strive to be a leader in the classroom as well as on the field. And as a two time captain of the football team, I strive to make sure the team is giving their all in practice and are prepared for the next opponent. What goals do you have for yourself the rest of the season? To fix the little mistakes I make on the field, help coach up the team to be the best versions of themselves every week, and focus on beating the next opponent, by taking it one week at a time.
