August Squier how is your season going for you so far?
The season is going well. We have had our ups and downs, but we have stayed together and looking to make a run in the playoffs.
What does football mean to you?
Football is a big part of my life and our communities' lives. I grew up watching high school football wishing I could be out there on that field with the community on our backs cheering us on. But now I’m there. It’s my senior year heading into the playoffs and having that fan base behind you cheering you on is half the battle. It helps raise the moral support of the team and prepares you for the game that is at your hands.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
My favorite part of the season was beating Carrolton on their home field 33-8 for the first time since 2009
What should college coaches know about you?
No matter how big the competition it all comes down to how much you want it.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
Being shorter than the others and staying low.
