Meet Brother Rice QB Jake Dugger Class Of 2024 - Name You Need To Know

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Jake Dugger Brother Rice QB 6'1 170 Class of 2024

Jake Dugger how was your sophomore season? My sophomore season was a learning experience. I was just starting to get acclimated to Brother Rice after transferring and I had high expectations for myself, but I didn’t have the season I hoped for. What does football mean to you? To me, football is my way of expressing myself. I leave everything I have on the field and I’m obsessed with putting in the work to be the best player I can be. Football means everything to me. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I’m a leader, I’m dedicated to the game of football, and I believe I’m the type of player who can change a program. What do you like about playing QB? I like being in control of the game. I’ve always been a natural leader so commanding an offense is second nature to me. I like being the guy who puts my teammates in the best position to make a play. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel like my strongest trait is the ability to keep plays alive. Whether it’s breaking out of a sack or using pocket presence to avoid the rush, I believe I have a knack for extending plays that most quarterbacks can’t. What does your summer college camp schedule look like? As of right now, I’m going to be attending the Yale Football Camp, Prep Redzone Prospect Tour, the Big10 Champions Mega Camp, the Ball State Football Camp, and the University of Indianapolis Mega Camp. How is your Track/Field season going so far? It’s going very well; this is my first year doing Track/Field and I’ve been having a ton of fun. I competed in the Long Jump for the first time ever last night at our meet and won the event with a 20’ 3.5” jump. I’ve been running in the 4x200meter relays as well.
