Henry Ivers how was your 2019 season? In 2019, I played on the freshman team at Brother Rice. Our record was just above .500 at 5-4. Although our team didn't have as much success as we would've liked to, I felt that my 2019 season really helped me learn to become a student of the game and helped me improve many aspects of my game. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a hard worker and I lead by example and try to push myself and others to be the best version of themselves they can be. What do you like about playing on the defense? I like the toughness that is required to play defense at a high level. I also like how defense challenges you to think fast and react quickly to the things happening around you. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel my strongest trait is my ability to effectively communicate with my teammates on the football field. What does football mean to you? Football has been a big part of my life ever since 4th grade when I started playing. I love the challenges that the game presents-- both mental and physical. I feel that I have learned many life lessons through playing the game of football. What part of your game have you been working on in offseason? Over this offseason, I have been working on growing bigger, faster, and stronger so that I am ready to compete on the varsity level when week 1 arrives.
