Joey Bodell how was your sophomore season? My sophomore season was filled with ups and downs. Fighting for the starting varsity spot, eventually I earned it by working hard and balling out. What does football mean to you? To me Football means everything to me. I don’t know where I’d be without football. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that i am a hard worker. I work hard on the field and work even harder in the classroom. I do not give up and will give everything and anything my all. What do you like about playing on the defense? I like being the aggressor. I love being violent off the ball and being the problem to an offensive coordinator.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
Over the offseason I mainly have been working on building strength and working on pass rush moves
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I would like to believe my strongest trait on the football field is my violence off the ball and my violence through tackles.
What goals do you have for yourself this season?
I have many goals for the season, but my main goal is to get attention from college coaches.
What game are you most excited for this upcoming season? I am most excited for the big rivalry with Bolingbrook vs Lincoln Way East. Due to the fact it’s a big talk the past few years and last season I got injured on their field and couldn’t play the rest of the game. I have something to prove not only against Lincoln Way East but anyone who steps in front of my teammates or me.
