Alex DuFour Benet OL Class of 2021 6'2 240
Alex DuFour how was your 2019 season? It was a good season, as an individual for the first four games I was a backup at every spot on the offensive line. After the fourth game I got the opportunity to start at center for the back five games against great competition like Loyola, St. Rita, and Nazareth. As a team we started off hot at 6-0 and made the playoffs. What schools have you talked to so far? So far I’ve talked to St. Norbert, Augustana, Lake Forest, Roosevelt, and John Carroll What would you like college coaches to know about you? Above all, I want them to know that I work very hard. Freshman year was the first time I had ever played football, and I was terrible. Over time though, I learned the game and put my time in in the weight room and it has paid off. What do you like about playing in the trenches? I love playing in the trenches because every single play I get to hit somebody. There’s no other position or sport where the goal is to move somebody from Point A to Point B against his will other than the line. I also love the brotherhood of being a part of an offensive line. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I think my strongest trait on the field is to be able to handle adversity. Last year was the first time I had ever played center, but I adjusted and played well. Whether I’m going against a very fast defensive end or a 365 lb nose tackle, I can handle it and help my team win.
