Wrigley Phillips Belvidere North OL/DL Class of 2024 6'0 195
Wrigley Phillips how was your sophomore season? It was a quite successful season in my eyes we had a few bumps in the road as a team, injuries, weather, and so much more but as a team we fought through it and ended up with a positive record. Me individually, had a good season I started to really understand the offense and defense, how to read teams and play smarter in general. What does football mean to you? I’ve been playing football my whole life and it’s always been a top priority of mine. I’ve been studying and working hard in the weight room to improve on my work on the field. What should college coaches know about you? I would love for coaches to know about my passion for the game of football, I work hard and am super dedicated, I’m a team player, I love to motivate and never hate love to learn and will do whatever, I can do to excel to the next level. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’m coming in before school to watch film with coaches and teammates to learn more and create a good bond with them, lifting/training either early before school or late after track practice 5 times a week, and making sure I’m staying healthy and in shape. What goals do you have for yourself this season? i plan to get smarter, more disciplined, stronger, and i have goals written down like more sacks then last season, pancakes, less missed blocks. Overall to get smarter and stronger to be prepared for this next season coach.
