Jacob Klink Hononegah OL Class of 2023 6'4 330
Jacob Klink how was your 2019 season? It was a fantastic year! I was honored to be able to start on varsity as a freshman. It also revealed the difference in size, skill, and speed that the varsity level is played at. And while I was able to contribute, it showed me areas where I need to work and grow, which I am thankful for. What should college coaches know about you? I am a true STUDENT-athlete. I am a hard worker and determined both on the field and in the classroom. I love my teammates and coaches, and will give all not only for me, but for them. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest traits on the football field physically is probably my strength, and mentally I would say it’s my leadership and aggressiveness. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Speed! After going over film from last season that was something that I needed to work on. Along with that, just working on my technique and my blocking at the second level. What do you like about playing on the line? Where to start? Hahah I love the brotherhood that comes with the position and the idea of five guys moving together as one unit. I love the ability to be physical and aggressive in the trenches. And I love the ability to be able to protect my qb and open holes for my running back so that they can look good. There is no better feeling than that.
