Lakes Junior Linebacker Clayton Horton Talks Again About Season So Far

By: Peter "Coach Big Pete" Leinweber

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Clayton Horton welcome back... How is your season going for you? Amazing, it’s been nothing short of fun and learning from the older guys. What has been one of your favorite memories so far? Beating Vernon Hills 14-13 and being in on the game saving force fumble. How do you feel you are doing right now as a player? Playing both sides of the ball I feel I’m playing well, but definitely room for improvement. Who is one player on Lakes that is having a breakout season? i would say Amir Al Hindi but honorable mention to Max Bausch, Tyson Dewey, and Jacob Perry What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? All-Conference is all I’m thinking about.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting

But About The Love Of The Game Of IHSA Football

RESPECT THE GAME
