Tyler Erkman how was your Junior season? Overall it went well. I started on both sides of the ball and I felt like I was able to make a heavy impact in every game. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. Being able to go out there every night and battle alongside the guys I’ve been playing with since I was 6. There’s just nothing else that compares to it. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I believe my strongest trait is my vision on the football field. I feel like I’m able to see the game at a much higher level than most high school football players. I always felt that I was able to put myself in a position to make a play on every single down. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches need to know about my work ethic. I’m an extremely hard worker who’s super competitive. You will always get the best version of me no matter the day or time. How does Lake Zurich look for the upcoming season? We are definitely going to surprise a lot of people early on. We have 8 returning defensive starters and some serious playmakers on the offense. We will definitely be a team to look out for in the 7A playoffs this year.
