Dayvion Ellis St. Viator Athlete 5'10 150 Class of 2025

Dayvion Ellis how was your freshman season? It was good in my opinion I started off the season playing with a broken hand and was doing very well at the freshman level. Then after I was cleared, I was moved up to varsity where I played running back felt like I played good for a freshman on varsity. What does football mean to you?

Football means a lot to me I’ve loved the sport since I was little just being able to play it brings me joy and it is a truly great experience. It isn’t just great on the field, but off of it too it has led me to meet many great people and build better relationships with others. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a hard worker, I'm very coachable, I'm a team player, I’m very competitive, and I love to win. And I am also a student athlete What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My vision and instincts speed and strength. I tend to see everything very well on the field whether I’m on defense or offense I can find a lane to run in or where the ball is going and that makes me a really good player. My speed and strength help me get to where I need to be on the field, I’m strong enough to break through tackles and get down the field. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? Being quicker and more explosive. Working on my route running and being able to change speeds and directions quicker and more efficient. And then defense I’ve been working on getting out of my breaks and my defensive coverage. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? Some goals I have for myself for the upcoming season is making all conference and all area. Helping my team make it to playoffs and have a winning record. I also want to have at least one offer of some sort.
