Sheko Gjokaj Jr how was your freshmen season? Great. I got moved up to JV after the second game and led the team in receiving the last 7 games. As a team we went 5-1 in the Dukane conference. A lot of great football players are in this conference. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. I have been training for football my whole life. I love the grind. I love playing with my teammates and the bond you create with your teammates. What should college coaches know about you? I am a very hard worker. I am smart and instinctive football player. I lead by example. I am a team player and I will do whatever the team needs me to do.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I am a grinder. I give it 100% all the time. Playing slot receiver I find the wholes in the the zones and my play making ability with yards after the catch.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been putting in a lot of time on my route running this off season. I take pride in my route running and getting open for my quarterback. I train with Coach Hohensee 4 days a week on my route running and with Midwest Boom.
What are you goals for this upcoming season? I want to start at slot receiver on Varsity at Saint Charles East this upcoming year as a sophomore. I really want to be an impact player on the team and help us succeed this year.
