Mac Jones how have your first two weeks been back on the field? They have been a blast and great to be back under the lights. It’s a whole new experience this year at the varsity level. I’ve learned so much these first two weeks and looking forward to applying it to the rest of the season What does football mean to you? Football means to be able to compete with my teammates and learning to trust each other to make the right moves and have our backs. It’s a big mental game at quarterback and being able to overcome the challenges that it brings. I just love the game and coming back every day to put in the work. What do you like about playing QB? I like being the leader of the offense and setting the tone for the team. I love slinging the ball around and making big plays to help out my team What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Staying calm under pressure is my strongest trait on the field What should college coaches know about you? I’m a hard worker and leader on the field. I’m a very coachable player. I’m also a good student in the classroom. Lastly, I don’t back down from a challenge and take it on. What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season? My goals are to lead the team to win our conference and hopefully go far into the playoffs.
