Jaylen Roberson Homewood Flossmoor DB Class of 2023 5'10 160
Jaylen Roberson how was your junior season? My junior season was a chance for me to understand how varsity football goes with the concepts and plays. And overall toughness. I ended up playing 2 games. But that helped me to understand that just because I didn’t play as much doesn’t mean u still can’t put in the hard work. I just knew my time was going to come. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. I feel like all of this hard work and consistency isn’t for nothing. It has been a big part in my life for the last couple of years. I'm just ready to see where football takes me. What should college coaches know about you? I’m determined to become the best player I can be to help the team become better. That I am a hard worker in the classroom and on the field. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My ability to motivate my teammates rather they do bad or good. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on getting in and out of breaks quicker, my backpedal/weave, and my eye discipline What goals do you have for yourself this season? I want to be able to contribute to the team rather that’s picks, tackles, and even PBUs. I also want to get stronger and faster for the season. What motivates a Jaylen Roberson? God, my family, my coaches, and my teammates is what really keeps me going.
