Griffin Carr how is your season going for you so far?
It is going great I really feel like I have improved a lot from week one. Even though our record isn’t the best the team and I have had a lot of fun through out the season.
What does football mean to you?
Football to me is everything. I’ve been playing since I was around 10 and I’ve been watching my older brother play through out my life. I grew up around it and the sport has really changed my life for the better. The sport itself has built a good foundation such as working hard, discipline, dedication, time management, and teamwork. I hope to continue my football career into college.
What should college coaches know about you?
I was on the honor roll the last two years. I strive to get good grades in all my classes. In football I was a QB and defensive end my freshman year where we won conference and only lost one game. I was moved up to varsity my sophomore year and they needed me as a offensive tackle and defensive end where I have started for the last two seasons. I was selected by the team this season as team captain and I have been a leader on the field and off the field in the community. I was voted West Suburban All Conference for football and wrestling last season.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
I really like the physicality and being able to go against another guy knowing that if you don’t beat the man in front of the team doesn’t get the push it needs.
