Terrance Weatherspoon Dyett Linebacker Class Of 2024 6'2 205

Terrance Weatherspoon how was your junior season? My junior year was amazing it was my 3rd year playing football for Dyett high school. I was able to lead the team in tackles 2 years in a row and being number 1 in tackles in the Red Southeast Conference with 90 tackles. As a team the season didn’t work in our favor, we went 3-6, but as one of the captains of the team I made sure my teammates kept their heads up and still play their hardest why they were out there. What should college coaches know about you? College Coaches should know that I’m a leader in the classroom and on the field. I make sure all my teammates push their selves and work just as hard as me I love the game of football. I work hard perfecting my craft but most importantly I stay on top of all my work in school so I can be the best in the class and on the field.

What does football mean to you? Football means the world to me just by being able to play a sport I love every day is just amazing. Football makes me want to get better every day and be better than I was yesterday. It has made me who I am today and makes me encourage others to play but overall football is a sport I love the most. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Reading the offense is one of my strongest traits. By me playing linebacker reading the offense before they run their play is a big thing for me it has help me make so many big plays on the football field. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working really hard on pass rushing this offseason. My coaches like my speed and size coming through the line when blitzing. So now we have been working hard moving me to edge for some plays for this upcoming season, and also communicating more to my defense so that we don’t let any big plays happen this year.

How does Dyett look for the upcoming season? Dyett is looking amazing for this upcoming season we all been putting in work on the field in the weight room and with watching film on every team we play. We are going to be the team to beat in our conference this year and looking forward to making a city championship and state championship run.

What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? For this upcoming season some goals I have for this year is to lead my team in tackles 3 consecutive years in a row. Move my state ranking up in tackles from top 70 to Top 20. I plan on winning my conference and winning the city championship with my teammates this year. To stay on my things, in the classroom but also to get noticed a lot more after this killer senior season.
