DuPage Valley Conference 2023 Preview With Coach Big Pete - Can Anyone Stop The Naperville Schools?
We are back IHSA Football Family!!! As is every summer conference previews and again please remember predictions and previews mean crap. High school football is the greatest thing because of pure parity. What is up last year could be down this year and what is down last year can up this year. ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN IHSA FOOTBALL. Last year, 2022 was mild to surprises and was calm predictable season. Also, unlike some prep writers who take credit and copy and paste the coach's work off a crap team questionnaire I do my own work. DUPAGE VALLEY CONFERENCE 2023 Season Preview
Again, Naperville area looks stronger than every with North, Central, and Neuqua Valley. Those three schools look great, and I really like depth of the North Huskies. The main problem in this conference I see is can Waubonsie or DeKalb challenge these three teams this season. I really thought last season that both teams were going to give them a challenge. Naperville North got the offensive line, and defense to challenge this season, along with young inexperienced rising recruit QB in Bell taking over for Gray. Neuqua Valley has the speed and not to mention the size to challenge this season again QB Mohler will have to play out just like NNHS Bell. Naperville Central has strong defense and their QB Cook could be a huge surprise this season along with strong depth at the running attack. Waubonsie has a great youth movement, but they got to win the games early. Waubonsie also has their QB returning this season. DeKalb is unpredictable this season, but they got some gamers at the skill level with Tate and company. DeKalb line is going to be a question mark this season. Metea Valley has the players with Rivera and Lee, but still have not been able to put everything together which is very frustrating these past seasons.
BEST BET: 3 Teams in The DuPage Valley Will Make the Playoffs
TELL ME WHY: This is the only Conference with so many unproven QBs but so much potential.
TELL ME WHY 2: Naperville North continues to produce big boys.
TELL ME WHY 3: This DuPage Valley Conference 2023 Version will lead to some shocking results.
