DuPage Valley Conference 2021 Preview With Coach Big Pete - Naperville Battle
Welcome back IHSA Fall Football!!! As is every August I do conference previews and again please remember predictions and previews mean crap. High school football is the greatest thing because of pure parity. What is up last year could be down this year and what is down last year can up this year. ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN IHSA FOOTBALL. Also unlike some prep writers who take credit and copy and past the coaches work. Thank You, to the high school coaches that put the info up on HUDL and emailed me info as well. Also I am not taking that much from the COVID Spring Season. Spring Season was a very weird and crazy time. Was going to do Conference Preview videos, but no one needs to see my face till next week. It will be just article form
2021 DuPage Valley Conference Preview
So for the DuPage Valley we have had a little bit of shake-up with Naperville Central in the Spring. I really think that with all the drama, that Naperville Central will still be with the top dogs of the conference. Owen Prucha is going to be a huge problem for defenses especially when your throwing to elite recruit Reggie Fluerima. Another team that I like in that spot is Naperville North and Aidan Gray Junior QB with an elite group of WRs and not to mention a underrated defense. Now for one of my favorites I like Neuqua Valley again this season with their elite passing attack and smash mouth offensive line (NVHS keeps growing QBS). NVHS comes back strong this season with a couple new names out of the junior class. Also keep an eye out for those athletic hybrid NVHS linebackers as well. Waubonsie Valley is a contender in my mind and to mention with a underrated group of WRS/TES and top QB in Nathan Pappas. Waubonsie also adds standout offensive weapon Antonio Torres as well. We need to start talking about Pappas as a top QB in the Class of 2022 in the Land of Lincoln. DeKalb could put a wrench in everyone's plans this season with a elite group of athletes featuring D1 WR recruit Tate and a big dog defensive line. Metea Valley is going to be my surprise team this season with Jalen Johnson and Fredrick at QB you should not be sleeping on these Mustangs for the Fall of 2021. Really don't see any huge negatives from any of these teams in the Dupage Valley Conference. This conference will be one of the most entertaining conferences in the State of Illinois this Fall.
