Well even for being late to the stop of Kankakee, I got to say I was quite impressed with this program. Coach Hart and staff are doing wonderful job with these kids and it speaks volumes when they got a 4-2 record in the Spring. They can build on the success of the Spring Season. Now will this upcoming season have some growing pains.... I have no doubt about it. Lost a lot of key playmakers this summer to graduation. The youth movement in the Kays ranks could be a huge problem for other teams. Again Coach Hart has built a sense of pride and comradery for this Kays team. It is my belief that this team has great shot at the playoffs this season. The future is bright for this program and its the hard work of this wonderful staff. This program can be really special in that area, I really see Kankakee as a sleeping giant.
