This just in Hinsdale Central is still Hinsdale Central. LOL..... Coach Griffin has got these Red Devils thinking big after 6-0 Spring Season records and a Spring WSC title. By the way, I love the renovations of the field and athletic facilities. Hinsdale Central is going be a great athletic facility once it is all done. Got to say that Hinsdale Central defense played big time D last Spring. Big thing will be how does HC replace their star QB Brescia? Well the Red Devils have nice cream of the crop QBs that can take the team to the promise land. To me they have pretty strong secondary and offense line as well. To me the big question will be the Red Devil WRs and how they progress in their game this fall. Looking at that Class of 2023 receivers, who will be the breakout player? Really love the tradition of strong offensive linemen culture of Hinsdale Central and not mention culture of multi-sport athletes as well. In the years to come I can see this program and Coach Griffin hoisting up the IHSA State Title Trophy, no doubt about it. Really impressed with this their group of linebackers and defensive linemen from the camp. That defensive coaching staff deserves a lot of praise for what they did in the Spring. I do not see this defense slowing down anytime soon especially against some of these WSC offenses.

So first that Naperville Central game is a trap game for Hinsdale Central. Their tempo game is against their rivals Lyons Township, and I really believe that game will set up everything for the season. As always the Hinsdale Central vs Glenbard West game will be the big game. The Hitters are looking for revenge this season after what happen in the spring season.
