NO IHSA PLAYOFFS IN 2020/2021
The Gators had a huge roadblock in the 2021 Spring season but to be honest a lot of teams did as well. Gator Program had a lot of mistakes on film that I saw along with a lot of other programs this covid spring season. That 1-5 record really did not speak to what that team could have done. After seeing this team's camp I can tell that they will be back to old winning ways for the fall season. Great young offensive line along with one of the top playmaking QBs in the state of Illinois in Kowalak. Not to mention a great group of athletic WRS, and underrated group of linebackers that can lay a hit. Gators need to win early and often to start off this fall and that begins with the Jacobs team on week 1. Keep a close eye of the Gator running attack as I will think it be a big factor in this CLS season with defenses focusing on Kowalak. Nathan Van Witzenburg is a star in the making for the Fox Valley Conference. Crystal Lake South had a lot of young players play in the spring and I got to say that is always great for a program the season after. Really think the world of the CLS Offensive Line Coach Patrick Frett he is name to watch. Love what Fontana and Staff do with their camp. I never ever have seen a star QB Kowalak practice the way he practices, always competitive. Say this again I'm very impressed with the youth movement of this Crystal Lake South team. Also very impressed with that a lot of this staff works in school, that very important for a football program. Again you got to love the fact that this team has multiple sport athletes on this team.

Crystal Lake South needs that first win against Jacobs to get that tempo going. Along with picking about those 3 wins against Hampshire, Dundee-Crown, and Central. But my big game for them is Crystal Lake Central - they need that game.
